The BIG BBHC BEACH PARTY - Saturday 25th Feb 2012
You are officially invited to the hottest event of the winter.
We will be cranking the heating up in the hall so no excuses.
There will be games throughout the night including Beach volleyball and Limbo.
There will be prizes for winners and best dressed.
As well as the normal selection of drinks there will be a cocktail bar,
this combined with a DJ pumping out the tunes should get everyone in the mood.
Everyone is welcome so feel free to bring your friends and family along.
The party is to be held in a hired hall, with Hockey members running the bar and entertainment,
So it's really important for the club that we get as many people along as possible.
Cost and times to be announced nearer the time but please keep this date free.

Now into its 4th year the Christmas pub crawl through Greenwich has become a yearly tradition.
I'm sure this year will not fail to live up to the past years success.
The event starts at the Greenwich Union pub on royal hill at 5.45 sharp.
It's really just an excuse to get together for a Xmas and enjoy a drink.
You are able to enter your own team this year.
You need 4 people and to let me know before the Saturday of the event.
Otherwise we will arrange the teams out of a hat as normal.
We will visit 12 pubs all within 5min walking distance of Greenwich town centre.
You must have a minimum of one drink, per person, per pub.
You have 20 minutes drinking in each pub.
You cannot leave a drink in the pub otherwise you team is deducted 50 points.
Being sick at any point is a 50 point team deduction.
Scoring goes as follows:
5 points - Each bar your whole team makes
5 points - Team shorts
3 points – Pint of lager/beer/ale or a large glass of wine
2 points – Bottle of beer/alco pop/ double spirit
1 point – Single spirit or small glass of wine

The latest list of items (as of 10th November) is:
- 3 hours for fully qualified domestic and commercial plumber . Gas and drainage registered.
- Up to 11 T-shirts provided and printed with your own logo front and back. For example a stag or hen party.
- Qualified teacher to provide 2 hours of Key Stage 2 learning for children in years 4,5 or 6.
- Provide a 1 hour relaxing holistic massage, can go to your house or at private home.
- Qualified Personal Trainer - Provide 2 hours session to Discuss Nutrition, training schedule, and run them through a session.
- Blind date, three course dinner. Venue Bank Restaurant. (Girls only).
- 6 hour event - organising and chef for a authentic South African BBQ for up to 20 people - Bidder must pay for the meat, however.
- Provide 40 pints of home brewed real ale in a Keg when required. Ideal for a party.
- Sealed Box of alcohol.
- Claridges trained chef, will come to your own house, provide all food, cook and clean up after.
- Arrange and run a private poker evening for up to 8 people, will provide, Professional table, chips etc, will include tactics and tuition followed by a dealer dealt tournament.
- Track day, picked up in 400bhp Nissan Skyline GTR, taken to next local event. Entrance and hire cost covered, you will be able to have laps in several different performance cars, then dropped back home again.
- Provide an 8 inch homemade brandy filled Christmas cake and decorated to your own design, delivered to your house on the 23/24 of December.
- Babysitter for an evening, any times and any ages of children.
- 12 freshly baked cup cakes, Decorated to a theme of your choice. Delivered to your home address. When required.
- Taxi and babysitter combo, Arrive at your home address, One will drive you to a restaurant and pick you up, leaving the other to babysit your children. Not later than 11 o’clock.
- Two hours of Spanish lessons with native speaker. Can be basic or very advanced.
- 1 hour free driving lesson by professional driving instructor.
- Produce two logo concepts for your business or a wedding etc, and supply as a JPEG and an EPS file.
- Professional I.T. Trainer to provide 2 hours of computer training. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Will supply to your house a large freshly caught rainbow trout. Within the next three weeks.
- 2 Olympic hockey tickets. For two group matches, one male one female.
We need every team to provide as many items for auction as possible.
Early evening will be a social drink and chat at the Hockey club
Then each item will be auctioned off one at a time throughout the evening
Followed be a disco with a bar extension depending on numbers.
We need a mix of small items and big items. So please get your thinking caps on.
All the money raised will go to the hockey club.
So come for the auction and stay for the dancing.
We really need a good turnout for this event

The Trials are a mixed event open to all ages and abilities.
Afternoon
Trials will consist of a mixture of drills and games.
Everyone will be mixed in together, so you will get to test yourself against different people from the club.
Late Afternoon / Evening
Then it’s back to the BBHC hockey club for showers and a BBQ
The Club Hall is ours for the night, so there will be music for anyone with any energy left to dance.
Please make every effort to attend both the trials in the daytime and the social in the evening.
This will be the first time this season that everyone will be around and it starts the new season off with a bang.

CALLING ALL SUPER HEROES
Help save Bexleyheath from the evil Doctor Killjoy and his devilish plan to ruin our Saturday nights with his new devastating "alcohmohol ray".
This dastardly weapon is fuelled by large quantities of beer and wine and leaves anyone caught in its rays in a permanent Sunday morning vegetative state.
If we can consume as much of his fuel as possible we may just be able
to thwart his evil plan.
It is a long shot but it might just work!
So don your superhero outfits on the 20th of November and come along
to the
Superhero themed Fancy Dress Party.
The event is open to all teams and Superhero's of any ages.

Hello all!
I am trying to organise the inaugural BBHC Golf day on the 21st of August …. Well the first that I have organised anyway.
Just putting the feelers out at the moment as to who would be interested so that I can get an idea of numbers.
The event will be held at a local golf club, and is looking to be around £40 per person.
The itinerary for the day will be something along the lines of:-
09:00 Arrive for an early morning coffee and bacon roll
09:30 Play 9 holes to warm up
12:00 Lunch
13:00 Main 18 holes
17:30 Beers in the club house (not included in the price)
There will be competitions running throughout the day along with an outright winner.
All standards (within reason) are welcome, guys and girls.
